Liferay Tester/QA Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Liferay Tester/QA Engineer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for Liferay features and functionalities, leveraging your understanding of the Liferay platform.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, usability testing, and compatibility testing.
• Identify and report bugs and defects using a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs effectively.
• Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Liferay testing tools and methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Overall 4+years of QA experience of which a minimum work experience of  1+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with Liferay experience.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with various testing methodologies (functional, regression, usability, compatibility).
• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
