Leading American discount retail chain, founded in 1977 and headquartered in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, is looking for an Automation Engineer.

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, implement, and support automation solutions for warehouse conveyors system, and PLC/HMI/SCADA systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Rockwell PLCs, be comfortable working in fast-paced industrial environments, and have strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. 

Responsibilities:

● Design, program, and test PLC applications (Rockwell). 

● Develop and deploy HMI/SCADA solutions (FactoryTalk View, or similar). 

● Integrate automation systems with conveyor and warehouse equipment. 

● Collaborate with remote automation development team 

● Optimize automation processes for efficiency, safety, and reliability. 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

● Proven experience with Rockwell automation systems. 

● Proficiency in PLC programming languages: LD (Ladder Logic), FBD (Function Block Diagram), SCL (Structured Control Language). 

● Hands-on experience with HMI/SCADA deployment (FactoryTalk, or similar). 

● Experience in warehouse conveyors, logistics automation. 

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

● Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
